Here is a group photograph with Professor Sir Anthony James Leggett (Mar. 26th, 1938 - Mar. 8th, 2026), taken on the morning of May 25th, 2019. As shown, the setting is in front of the Shanghai University Library. You may not have spotted me at first glance. For clarity, I have included a cropped and enlarged version of the photograph below.
I am the young man on the far left of the second row. Unfortunately, as I was facing the morning sun, my eyes happened to be closed at the exact moment the shutter was released. The second person from the right in the first row is Professor Sir Anthony James Leggett. To his left (the first person from the right in the first row) is his former student, Professor Ping Ao.
